NAICONS' strain library is one of the largest and most diversified collections in the world. It consists mainly of actinomycetes, the most important source of structurally diverse compounds with applications in human and veterinary medicine (e.g. antibiotics, anti-cancer drugs, immunomodulators) and agriculture (e.g. insecticides, fungicides, herbicides).
By cultivating individual strains under optimal conditions, Naicons generates a diverse set of ready-to-screen products, including extracts, fractionated extracts and pure compounds.
