NAICONS takes part in the Horizon 2020 projects INNOTARGETS and PEST-BIN

NAICONS takes part in two new projects starting in early 2021 funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant scheme: INNOTARGETS (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/956154) and PEST-BIN (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/955626). Both projects will train early stage researchers in Europe to address serious and global problems of antibiotic resistance. INNOTARGETS will focus on the identification of novel metabolic drug targets in pathogenic bacteria. PEST-BIN will focus on nano-engineering, antibiotic discovery and production, proteomics-based diagnostics and big data analysis using artificial intelligence.

For each project, NAICONS is hiring one Early Stage Researcher (ESR). Both ESRs are expected to apply cutting-edge methodologies boost NAICONS’ powerful technology platform based on microbial products.
