Christelle Yammine obtained her BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Balamand and her MSc in Microbiology and Immunology from the American University of Beirut. During her master, she worked on the discovery of natural products from soil samples in Lebanon. Currently, her PhD project focuses on integrating traditional screening, genomic, and metabolomic approaches to discover novel compounds derived from actinomycetes.
