NAICONS Team Discover New Antibiotic Effective against Drug-Resistant Bacteria.

Scientists from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NAICONS and elsewhere report in Cell today the discovery and mechanism of action of a new antibiotic effective against drug-resistant bacteria.  See EurekAlert for further details>

Jan. 2017 NAICONS takes part in TOPCAPI (Thoroughly Optimised Production Chassis for Advanced Pharmaceutical Ingredients), funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020, H2020-NMBP-BIO-2016 (no. 720793).


Jan. 2017 NAICONS takes part in Train2Target, an European Training Network funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (no. 721484). The project, which started on January 2017 and will last until December 2020, involves 11 Beneficiaries from 8 different countries and is dedicated to the scientific and professional training of 15 Early Stage Researchers (PhDs). the aim of the Train2Target programme is to deliver leads for a new generation of innovative antibacterials to treat infections by multi-drug resistant pathogens.
